Product Description

NO-RUST 7 is a blend of penetrants, acrylic converters and proprietary acids specially formulated to neutralize and convert existing rust and to form a durable, black protective barrier against corrosion. NO-RUST 7 will serve as the primer coat for any type of coating suitable for the protection required for the metal surface. NO-RUST 7 is formulated for use in areas that cannot be easily sandblasted such as new construction repair, behind bulkheads, or thin easily damaged surfaces. NO-RUST 7 should not be used on critical use applications without testing to determine if the product will perform to needed standards. NO-RUST 7 is not suitable as the only protective coating, it must be top coated with an appropriate paint approved for expected ambient conditions.

INTENDED USE: 
NO-RUST 7 is designed to convert existing surface rust into an excellent protective barrier that will protect against future structural damage caused by rust and corrosion.  Works on all iron and steel surfaces.

APPLICATION:

Surface to be treated must be free of scale, grease or oil and loose particles. NO-RUST 7 can be sprayed, brushed or rolled onto exposed surfaces. NO-RUST 7 dries in 20 - 30 minutes. Second application can be made after 24 hours. Application equipment can be cleaned with soap and water. Estimated coverage is dependent on metal condition. Coverage ranges from 300 to 500 square feet per gallon.
