MIL-C-15074 (Fingerprint Remover) RP-074

MIL-C-15074E (Fingerprint Remover) is an amber-colored, corrosion preventing oil designed to remove fingerprint salts and as an effective rust preventative to provide long term protection of metal surfaces. The residual film is highly resistant to atmospheric humidity.

INTENDED USE: 
MIL-C-15074 is intended for use in the removal of fresh fingerprint residues, suppression of corrosion that has developed as a result of fingerprint residues and to provide an easily removable temporary corrosion preventive.

APPLICATION:
MIL-C-15074 should be applied using spray or dipping methods. Application surfaces should be clean, dry and free of rust. Product should have a uniform consistency prior to use. It is recommended that the metal substrate temperature be 50-95 Degrees F at the time of product application.  

REMOVAL:
MIL-C-15074 can be removed using a hot alkaline wash, low pressure steam, vapor degreasing or a solvent borne thinner.

SHELF LIFE:
24 Months  (Product ordered from Flywheel Distribution, LLC is guaranteed to have a remaining shelf life of 95% or greater.)
